Little Kings Park Terms and Conditions

A Booking constitutes a legal contract. Your deposit, which is non-refundable, will hold your reservation only until 28 days before your intended arrival. Your booking will only be confirmed on receipt of your final payment. Should full payment not be received by the due-date, we reserve the right to re-let the pitch. NO REMINDERS ARE SENT when your balance is due.

Once your booking is confirmed you are responsible for the total sum due on the booking confirmation document.

Refunds are not made (except under the terms of Cancellation Scheme) under any circumstances.

Pitches are allocated according to availability and may not be changed on arrival.

There will be a £5.00 charge for an alteration to a booking.

Bookings are from 12 noon on arrival day until 11.00 am on departure day. Pitches must be vacated by 11.00 am or half day will be charged.

Little Kings Park is a family park and we do not accept bookings from all male and all female parties of young people.

We reserve the right to terminate or decline the booking of any guest(s) who in the sole opinion of the management is likely to or actually causes interference to the general comfort of other guests. In the event, such person(s) will be required to vacate the site and no refunds will be made.

While every effort is made to comply with the information given in our brochure, we reserve the right to alter, amend, cancel or postpone any facility shown at our discretion.

Guests use Little Kings Park at their own risk. We will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property or personal injury.

The use of household domestic appliances, e.g. fan convectors, chip fryers, etc, in your caravan is strictly forbidden (only low wattage appliances are permitted).

Little Kings Tavern and site shop are open daily in peak season only. Please check when booking your holiday.

For safety reasons there is a 5 mph speed limit on site. Anyone abusing this will be asked to leave.

We ask you co-operation in quietening the site down by midnight.

Children's play area, games room and swimming pool

The childrens' areas are there to provide entertainment for the children. Bikes are allowed on the site dirt roads, but at no time should be ridden past the gates onto the entrance and driveway. All ball games must be restricted to the recreation area at the bottom of the camping field.

At all times it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure the safety of their children whilst on site. No child or children should be left alone on site at any time.

To comply with Health & Safety Regulations, children under 15 are not allowed in the pool without a parent or guardian. Large inflatables and body boards are forbidden in the pool.

There is a 10.00 pm curfew on the play area in order to ensure peace and quiet for those who wish to retire early and you are asked to adhere to this without fail. Failure to do so could result in a request to leave the site.

Dogs and Pets

Dogs should be exercised in the designated walk areas, should be on a lead at all times and under no circumstances be left unattended. All dogs must wear a collar with an identity tag indicating name and address.

Should any dog foul in the Park it is the responsibility of the owner to clean it up (dog bins are provided on site for this purpose).

Failure to clean up after your dog will result in a request to leave.

We require the names(s) and breed(s) of your dog(s) at the time of booking. Maximum of 2 dogs allowed per outfit.

With the exception of guide dogs, no dogs are allowed in any facilities (e.g. shop, bar, pool, shower block etc.)
Any owner whose dog or other pet is considered by management to constitute a nuisance or danger to other guests will be required to remove said pet from the site.

Whilst dogs are allowed of the Park, we regret no animals are allowed in any Holiday Homes.

Holiday Home Booking Conditions

1. The Holiday Home must not be occupied by more than 6 persons (4 in the Hornbeam) at any time.

2. Only persons named on the booking form will be accepted. And any alteration to the party named must be confirmed prior to your arrival.

3. The Holiday Home must be left in the same clean and tidy condition as it was at the commencement of the holiday.

4. Holiday Home occupants are not to cause annoyance to other occupants of Little Kings Park by noise at night.

5. Cars may be driven on the park service road for loading and unloading, but must be parked in the car park provided and are not allowed on the grass at any time. Extra cars will be charged at £15.00 per week due to limited availability of parking space.

6. The Holiday Home is available from 4.00 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00 am on the date of departure.

7. Visitors' own domestic appliances may not be used in the Holiday Homes

8. Whilst every precaution is taken to ensure that the Holiday Home is in good order, no liability can be accepted for any accident to individuals or loss of property.

9. Bookings will not accepted from single sex groups or teenage parties.

10. Whilst dogs are allowed on the Park and in the Bungalow, we regret dogs are not allowed in any of the Holiday Homes.

Sickness Cancellation Scheme

As you will see from our conditions of rental, cancellation of your booking cannot be accepted under any circumstances. If we are unable to resell a cancelled booking, then you are liable not only to forfeit the deposit paid but also pay the balance of rent. This condition, which is common to all Agents, results each year in some genuine cases of hardship, when a booking has to be cancelled at a very late date as a result of accident or illness affecting some member of the holiday party, without whom the others would not wish to take their holiday. However, to protect against such an event, we offer the following Sickness Cancellation Scheme, and we invite all our holidaymakers to take advantage of the protection offered.

To those who join the scheme and are compelled for any of the following reasons to cancel their holiday, we will refund the money paid if notice is given at least 72 hours prior to the start of the holiday.

The Scheme covers cancellation due to:

1. Serious illness of the Tenant or any member of his party, as listed on the Application Form.

2. Serious accident to Tenant or any member of his party, as listed on the Application Form.

3. Death of Tenant or any member listed.

The Scheme does not cover the illness, accident or death of any persons not a member of the listed party, illness or accident insufficiently serious to prevent the person from taking the holiday, alteration of holiday dates, posting away or abroad, or maternity. Under the Scheme, cancellation will be accepted up to 72 hours before the day of commencement of the holiday or if less than 72 hours notice given, the scheme will only apply if we are able to re-let the Holiday Home or pitch in which case a full refund will be made less our 10% expenses.

It is a condition that we are notified immediately of the circumstances giving rise to a cancellation and that we are furnished with evidence (e.g. Doctor's Certificate) of the genuineness of the claim. Notification should be made by telephone and confirmed in writing.

It is also a condition of the Scheme that our decision is final.

The charge for protection under the Scheme is twenty-five pounds per week. This payment must be made at time of booking. The name of the Tenant and of each member of his party, together with the details of the holiday booking, should be listed on the form.

Tenants are under no obligation to take part in the Scheme, but we strongly recommend them to do so in their own interest. Tenants not taking part cannot have any ground for complaint if they are prevented from taking their holiday and yet find themselves liable to pay the rental in full.

Tourers, Motorhomes and Tents

1. All new arrivals and visitors must check in at reception before going on site. All visitors' cars must be in the car park or £10 will be charged. Visitors will be charged £1 per person per day for use of facilities.

2. Your pitch fee covers you from 12 noon on arrival day to 11.00 am on departure day. All pitches must be vacated by 11.00 am or a half day will be charged.

3. No excessive noise is allowed after 11.00 pm which is likely to cause nuisance or annoyance to others.

4. Whilst dogs are allowed on the site, they must be kept on a lead at all times and never left unattended. A dog walk is provided for exercise, and owners are required to pick up droppings and deposit in the dog bin provided. Failure to clean up after your dog will result in a request to leave the Park. We require the name(s) and breed(s) of your dog(s) at the time of booking. Maximum of two dogs allowed per outfit.

5. For health and hygiene reasons, any clothes or nappies must be washed only in the laundry area provided. Disposable nappies and sanitary wear should be wrapped before putting in bins. A baby-changing table is provided in the family room.

6. Litter must be placed in the bins provided.

7. Dirty water, etc, must be deposited at the proper disposal points and not thrown on the site or hedges. BBQ remains (ashes etc.) should be allowed to cool then wrapped and placed in the bins provided.

8. Cars must be placed at the side of the caravan or tent and at all times an unrestricted gap of 20 feet must be maintained between vans for personal enjoyment and compliance with fire regulations. Due to fire regulations absolutely no pup tents or gazebos are allowed on the touring park. Gazebos are permitted on the camping field.

9. Only one car per caravan/tent is allowed on site. Additional cars must go in the car park or a charge of £10 per car per night will be made.

10. Electric outlets are 10 Amp, therefore domestic appliances such as toasters, kettles, heaters etc. should not exceed 2000 watts
